Kate Kunkel has enjoyed careers as a writer, a harpist, and a TV talk show host. But her most important job developed from her desire to prevent what happened to her mother from ever happening to anyone else. Seeing the devastation that dementia wreaks has made Kate a passionate advocate for prevention of this terrible disease. By researching and creating a program to prevent dementia, Kate has made it her life’s work to educate and empower people to take control of their lives and save their brains. - Even with the genetic predisposition, nobody is sentenced to developing Alzheimer’s or dementia. These are lifestyle diseases.
