“Tim Davis, author of TRIPOLAR: The Story of a Bipolar Triathlete, which chronicles his journey from childhood traumas into multiple addictions for over 20 years. In recovery, he discovered his passion for triathlons & ultrarunning – important tools for his sobriety and sanity.  He’s a teacher, coach, and speaker in Los Angeles, CA.  He has completed 12 Ironman triathlons, seven 100-mile endurance runs, 1 double-ironman triathlon, over 50 ultramarathons, and 100s of other races.  He is a huge advocate for mental health awareness, recovery, & fitness – and the connections between the mind, body, and spirit.”

Tim Davis will be sharing his experience, strength, and hope he has gained from over 20 years active in 12 step programs, physical training and endurance racing, learning to listen to and trust the medical experts, therapy, and meditation.  How to recover from childhood traumas and abuse and empower yourself with tools to live your best life in the here and now.

  1. Don’t beat yourself up (Easy does it)
  2. Set realistic goals – take small steps to achieve big steps/goals
  3. Write it down- keep a journal or written record of you daily achievements towards your goal(s)
