I have the pleasure of talking to Natalie Forstbauer. In 2003 Natalie acquired a brain injury in a motor vehicle accident – and lost pretty much everything that was important to her… most importantly her health and a sense of self and who she was. Before the accident her nick name was “Dr. Feel Good”. Natalie’s background and training is in complimentary medicine, energy medicine and organic farming. She specialized in making people feel good from the inside out. But everything changed in a split second. Through farming and gardening the brain injury taught her the value of compassion and grace in the face of adversity and trauma. It showed her healing is not always about “fixing what we perceive to be broken”. Natalie Forstbauer is a TEDx speaker, award-winning entrepreneur, author, organic/biodynamic farmer and traumatic brain injury (TBI) survivor. She is passionate about human potential and seeing people live their best lives. Raised on an organic farm, trained in Polarity Therapy, alternative medicine, Neurofeedback and Transformational Leadership she brings a wealth of knowledge and life experience to her audiences and clients. Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Heart & Soil Magazine she brings together quality information and conversations on regenerative agriculture and global health. Natalie has been kind enough to make her book free for the viewers and listeners of this episode.
